The best all around juicer for the money!
I must say, I thought I was stepping out on a limb buying this machine, but I liked the look :) I have had many juicers - centrifugal and single auger. My last juicer, a Champion - the motor burned out when I juiced kale. This machine processes the kale easily, with no foam. I have not tried wheat grass yet, but I'm sure the results will be just as good. I was vasilating between this one and the Omega, and I'm glad I chose this one! The parts are SO easy to clean and assemble. It is quiet, so I won't wake anybody up in the morning! It literally grabs the fruit/vegetable - no need to push down with all your strength! I am so impressed by this machine - I highly recommend it!

Good juicer for the price, not for the hardcore raw foodie.
If you plan on juicing less than 3 times per week, this juicer is for you.

Great price and all around good juicer, easy to clean and very quiet. I did a lot of research before I purchased this unit and I have to say, I was sold by the reviews, but once I started using it 5 to 6 times a day, the problems started.

Week one no problems at all, week two I started to hear a click and then small cracking sounds when I was juicing. Upon further inspection, I saw the auger was very worn and had hairline scratches all over it. The housing that holds the two juicing screens was also worn and had started to oxidize between the plastic and metal. Not a good sign considering I'd only had it for two weeks. Granted I was juice everything like carrots, wheatgrass, melon, leafy greens and watermelon 5 to 6 times per day so I was bound to see some wear and tear, but I started to rethink if this juicer would last 10 or more years.

This is the first juicer I've ever bought, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but regardless of that I do have an opinion about what I just bought.

The juice that comes out of this machine is awesome!

My fiancee especially loved taking to Fiji apples and drinking a glass of apple juice unlike anything you can find on the shelf of any supermarket. It tasted like you eating an apple but you were drinking it, and that is not what store bought apple juice tastes like.

I made a veggie concoction from carrots, celery, cucumber, tomato and lemon and was blown away by the flavor! I love V8, and it reminded me of that in particular, but it tasted heaps better and had zero salt (didn't need any either). V8s are loaded with salt, so it surprised me that it didn't need any while tasting better.

I envisioned using it as a way to drink a healthy breakfast or lunch as a meal replacement, but I don't think it will work out like that very long. It...

HU-100B IMPROVED HUROM JUICER
First, I love this juicer. The best juicer on the market is the one that you will use everyday and this is the one for me. It is the fastest to use because it is self feeding. This is a fantastic time saver. I can cut up the produce while the juicer does its work, reducing my juicing time in half. Try to do that with the Super Angel. The YouTube videos I have seen on the Super Angel show the wooden pusher getting quite a workout forcing produce into the twin screws. I haven't taken the Hurom pusher out of the plastic bag yet. The clean-up is also easy and just as fast as with a single horizontal auger juicer. Please note that the parts are not dishwasher safe. Currently, there are at least three Hurom models on the market, namely the HU-100, HU-300 & HU-400. Functionally all three are the same. Differences are in the body, strainer and pin holder. I am so impressed with how much juice the Hurom juicer is able to extract and how little pulp left over. So far I've used it every day, and sometimes more than once a day. I've juiced kale, collard greens, cucumbers, basil, ginger, carrots and their tops, apples, kiwis, watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes, spinach, apricots, oranges, grapefruit, bell peppers, sweet potato, celery, cherries, blueberries, apples, parsley, and lemons. The only one that I've ever had to use the reverse button on is the carrots, so I try to cut them in very small pieces - about the size of a pea. Clean up is easy. It's quiet so I can use it while my husband is still asleep! Plus it looks good.
Great juicer
I was looking for a juicer that would provide a great tasting juice with less waste, and would clean up easily. The new Hurom 100 stainless steel does all that! The juice stays blended with several fruits or vegetables blended together, does leafy greens very well, and is a snap to clean up. I'm totally pleased.

Almost perfect juicer
It juices virtually everything perfectly! Peel the rind off a lemon and it juices better than a citrus juicer! It does greens VERY well, almost all pulps come out dry without so much as a drop to wring out from it, and it looks gorgeous in a glass.

Here's how it works: you feed your produce into the feed chute and it's processed by a black acrylic auger against a metal sieve. Basically this means the auger is chewing the produce and pressing the resulting pulp and juice against a metal screen with tiny holes. The pulp is pressed through a pulp chute while the juice is filtered through the holes and into the juice chute. It's absolutely amazing. Honestly, I really wanted one of the Omega nutrition center juicers, but just watching the videos of making carrot juice on those things was painful! Happier with it now after using it a while
For the last four years I've used a centrifugal juicer and always wanted a masticating juicer, but never bought one because I knew some of them had problems juicing fruits, and also that they're very slow.

So, when I saw the advertisement for this "slow" juicer that was fast and which could juice both leafy greens and fruits equally well, I was very excited. I raptly watched the video demonstrations of its capabilities and ordered it promptly. Some of its purported advantages of extremely dry pulp, more juice, little to no foam, etc. have fallen far short of the promises made. I notice no increased amount of juice, the foam is absolutely no less than it was with a centrifugal juicer, and UNLIKE my trusty centrifigual juicer the Hurom does a LOUSY job of juicing greens. Just try to juice a leaf of Kale and you'll find it gets all wound up around the screw that is supposed to be chewing it up. It's a mess! I have to stop, put it in reverse, which makes the top come off, then...
Hurom Is My Choice - Love it! GREAT Customer Service
I'm extremely happy with my Hurom juicer. To me, it's the best of both worlds between the fast juicing Breville and the slow juicing Green Star. The Hurom is a fast juicer, SUPER EASY cleanup, fun and easy to use, and I love it. I get plenty of juice in one session, which is great. It quickly and efficiently juices greens like kale and romaine while flawlessly juicing cucumbers, apples, and other "watery" fruits. The pulp varied from dry (hearty leafy greens, like kale) to semi-moist (romaine, apples, etc). The juice typically had little foam, but it would depend on what I juiced to determine that. I like to strain my juice quickly with a nut milk bag after making it anyway, so if there is a little pulp or foam on it, it gets held back when straining. I love the warranty, too.

I have three juicers: Green Star, Breville and the Hurom. If I didn't have any of them... knowing what I know now, I'd get the Hurom. (I have a video on my blog discussing the three of them.)...
