I LOVE THIS LITTLE MACHINE
I worked in an office that had one of these and I just loved the coffee it made. So, I bit the bullet after spending five years making French Pressed coffee and purchased one of these sweet little coffee/espresso makers for my home. I will still make the French Press every once in a while, but this is so great for every day that I don't miss the French Press at all.

To be helpful, the reasons I love this little machine are below:

1) The size is perfect for small counters. It takes up very little space and fits great in the corner where it's out of the way.

2) It comes assembled, so all you need to do is wash the water dispenser, run some plain water through the machine a couple of times and then add the coffee capsule

3) The milk frother is THE best thing ever! It's so simple to use. Add milk up to the minimum or maximum line, put on the lid and press the button and then let it do its thing. It makes the PERFECT milk for your espresso...

From Luxury to Necessity
I bought the small machine with aerocino milk frother. I purchased the introductory coffee sampler via Nestle the same day. I received the coffee and machines on the same day, two days after ordering. What do I own a car for? I've had the machine for over a month, and it has replaced my coffee machine. I gave my old espresso machine away within a week. The espresso is incredibly good, and has a nice aromatic rich crema. I believe the machine puts out 19 bar of pressure. It can be calibrated to increase or decrease the volume of the shot or lungo (about 2.5 shots). Nespresso coffee does come with the machine. You get 16 coffee pods. I would highly recommend the introductory offer of 200 pods from Nespresso. You get a nice wooden box which holds about 40 pods with the "wheel" showing each coffee blend with its strength. You get a nice set of books describing the flavors of the blends and the regions they come from. The Lungo coffees have about 25% more grind. Of the decaf...
Good coffee. Convenient system. Cheapish machine.
The coffee tastes really good. Don't let snobs and wannabes tell you that Nespresso is nowhere comparable to espresso brewed with a Rancilio or a Gaggia. Nespresso makes excellent espressos, and the capsule system is very convenient and clean. However, the Nespresso machines made by Nestle feel cheap. They are made of low-quality plastic all around. Nespresso could charge a bit more and offer the same Essenza models in metallic casing, instead of cheap plastic.

My quest for perfect espresso is finally over!
This review is based on my experience with the Nespresso Essenza C90, but the Nespresso Essenza D90 is quite similar, and the espresso making mechanism is exactly the same.

We all have our little passions. Over the years, I have devoted too much time, money, and study to perfecting the art of making the perfect coffee and espresso. I searched the world (and the internet) for the best beans, grinders, equipment, and even tried roasting my own beans and became able to produce better potions that one can ever find in the coffee boutiques. Still, as it turns out, my efforts were in vain. The Nespresso Essenza (and probably the other Nespresso machines similar in design) produces the perfect cup and the ease of doing so, sadly, puts my efforts to shame.

The secret seems to be in the strong pumping mechanism (19 bars of pressure, same as their more expensive machines) and their superb coffee capsules. After being such a stickler for the freshest roasted estate grown...

very good coffee machine
I use Nespresso machine for about one month. It already produced 60-100 shots, makes tasty beverage for about $0.60 per cup, very neat and easy to operate. Coffee selection is excellent. Delivery of new capsules is fast. I highly recommend to buy special flat box for coffee capsules (actually, it comes free with $110 "welcome" package together with 200 capsules - a good deal). I use it to entertain my guests (it's like waiter in upscale restaurunt offers you teas in special box)and myself every morning.
The only drawback of this machine is inconvenient location of water tank - at the back side. So, every time I pour water I have to move machine from the wall and then move it back.
Nespresso is fantastic. Get the cheapest machine you can get.
Below is my review of the Nespresso machine, and I love it. Couldn't be better and I highly recommend it. ONE THING THOUGH: make sure you compare the specs of the machine you buy, before you make the purchase. I bought the more expensive "cube" assuming it was better in some way (more power! yeah!) But it isn't. At the time I bought my cube, it was identical in spec (pump size, pressure, volume, etc.) to the other, cheaper machines offered. The only difference was form factor. So... if you're gonna get a nespresso, and I HOPE YOU DO, make sure choose which model to buy for the right reasons.

With all the new style espresso machines on the market (Tassimo, Keurig, Flavia, etc.) I was convinced that Nespresso was more of the same: a set of stylish gimmicks designed to convince you that this "espresso" (though not real at all) was "the real thing." It never is.

Wonderful, simple
I was quite skeptical about such a system until I had a demo of it at my local Williams-Sonoma store. It makes a very acceptable espresso, in addition to a roughly 4 ounce coffee. No one should be under the impression that this makes the world's greatest espresso. But it is very good, and very simple. Pop in a capsule, press the button and seconds later you have a great espresso. No fuss, and no mess.

On other sites I have heard complaints that you are locked into Nespresso's capsules, which is true, however I am finding that there is enough variety to keep me satisfied.

For my casual espresso drinking habit, this machine fits the bill perfectly.

Super reliable
I owned this machine for 5 years while living in Europe and it performed extremely well. I gave it to a friend when I moved back to the US about 1 year ago and she is still using it. Since water was very hard over there, I used white vinegar (1/4 tank vinegar the rest with water) to clean it once every 2 months. I had purchased one kit from Nespresso only to realize it was actually pure vinegar. I ran the vinegar mixture 3 times and then rinsed the machine using 3 full tanks of fresh water.
have had it for a few years
The machine is simple. It makes consistently excellent espresso every time. La crema is excellent. i would recommend this machine to anybody who loves espresso, lattes, etc. It is small enough to tote on vacation, and all my friends have always been impressed. For the money I don't believe you can beat it. Customer service from Nestle has also been outstanding.
